Via a dating portal, Gloria makes contact with Michel. For her it's love at first sight. But feelings aren't part of Michel's world: he's a gold-digger preying on women wanting to get married. Gloria invests everything in a future life at the side of the man with whom she has fallen in love so deeply she's prepared to give up her own identity. As his fake sister, she joins him as he raids the hearts and houses of single women. With each coup, Gloria's murderous jealousy grows, until finally matter escalate. Alleluja is a noir thriller, as fast-paced and limitless as the love it portrays, and is based on the true story of The Lonely Hearts Killers.
