Kostas Stasinos has a gardening business in an Athens suburb and leads an unassuming life with his wife and two teenage children. A left-winger all his life, the 48-year old's political beliefs are thrown into disarray when one day a masked gang storms his house, ties up his family and rapes his daughter. With the help of CCTV footage, Kostas discovers the identity of the gang and decides to track them down. He unleashes a spiral of violence which threatens to drag him and his family ever deeper into the abyss. This story of vengeance is a parable about the increasing breakdown in the legal and moral order in Greece.
