This film possesses the meditative qualities of a quiet ocean and still settles the score with the mercilessness of modern competitive sports. Goyo is 34 and never made it as a pro swimmer. Now he's the trainer of Chino, 20, who wants success. When they take part in a competitive swimming-marathon they not only probe their physicals depths and limits. They also discover each other as friends.
