When 40-year-old teacher Aldi returns traumatised from his military service, he decides to have a break. Having arrived at the airport, however, he cancels his flight to Paris and disappears among Tel Aviv’s Turkish immigrant community. He experiences his own country from an entirely new perspective. The film portrays an Israeli parallel-society existing underneath the poverty line.
