Shortly before her 17th birthday, pretty Isabelle sleeps with a boy for the first time -- an event that leaves her disillusioned. At the start of the new school year, she starts arranging to meet men via the Internet. The mostly older men pay her €300 for sex, and the hidden bundle of money in her wardrobe soon grows fat. Neither family nor friends have any idea of how she spends her afternoons. When a tragic incident reveals her double life, her parents are appalled. And, while her mother goes into a flood of self-recrimination, Isabelle remains resolutely silent.
