Sunday, 6th May, 2012: France on the day of the presidential election. TV journalist Laetitia is about to leave her flat in the Rue de Solférino and go to the rally for François Hollande when her ex-husband Vincent turns up. He is not yet over the break-up, is very depressed – and wants to see his two daughters. In the highly charged atmosphere, a fight for custody develops that takes on ever more grotesque forms. Complete chaos finally ensues thanks to two hyperactive children, a babysitter unable to cope, a pushy new lover, a grouchy lawyer - and a Grande Nation torn between a new dawn and depression.
