Story
The 12-year-old orphan Zozo is forced to leave his native Beirut to live with his grandparents in Sweden. There, he is confronted with rejection, disorientation and outright hostility. Director Josef Fares processes his own biography in this film, as well as paying tribute to all war-orphans. Like the traumatised Zozo, he too grew up in Sweden after having spent his early life in the Lebanon.
