The early 1980s: Martin Siedler (Friedrich Mücke), successful spokesman for a leading pharma company, believes he has the trust of his boss Walter Lange (Uwe Kockisch). Then he finds out that the alleged wonder-drug that he is touting has hidden, deadly risks. This is confirmed by a secret internal study whose contents are also known to his boss. How should Martin deal with this information? What will he risk if he goes public? How strong is a conscience? Based on real events that occurred in one of Germany’s biggest pharma scandals.
