Story
Ama is 11 years old, loves swimming and lives in the Netherlands. Until now, she’s never shown any interest in where she comes from or her mother’s stories from Senegal. When the family suddenly faces deportation, Ama runs away – the police start looking for her, while Ama looks for her father. And then there’s this huge great porcupine which won’t leave her side for an instant. Her best friend Thijs is also trying everything to protect Ama and prevent her departure.
We recommend the film for 8 years and older!
