Story
In the bright nights of Norway, a young artist falls in love not just with the beauty of the Nordic landscape. For artist Frances, the summer begins disastrously: her long-planned art project falls apart, her boyfriend throws her out of their house in the Hamptons and, while her younger sister celebrates her engagement, her parents announce they’re getting divorced. Alternating between panic and frustration, Frances impulsively takes on an art residency in Norway and spends the following weeks in the remote Lofoten Islands, on which the sun never sets. But in the seclusion of the mountains love unexpectedly finds Frances.
