Story
A classic roadmovie with a classic rock’n’roll soundtrack. 19-year-old Mercer (Lou Taylor Pucci) steals a car and encounters mad potters, burnt-out buddhists, and his zany puppy love Joely (Jena Malone). All the while he calls the car owner Kate (Zooey Deschanel) to inform her of his progress. Film bible Variety commended The Go-Getter for its confident sense of style.
