Story
Romanticism was yesterday: two federal police officers fight to control the influence of criminal gangs in St. Pauli. A contract killing shocks the Hamburg red light district. While investigating, Thorsten Falke (Wotan Wilke Möhring) bumps into an old acquaintance, the St Pauli institution Michael Lübke (Michael Thomas) and comes face to face with his past as a young bouncer. In the face of prostitution and modern forms of slavery, there’s no St Paulil nostalgia for his colleague Julia Grosz (Franziska Weisz). Together they hunt the hitman and the men behind the killing, before the simmering war in the precinct boils over – and Falke‘s old friend and mentor Lübke turns out to be a tricky customer.
