Story
DOCUMENTARY He became an icon as a superhero, as a human being he was an inspiration: the remarkable story of the actor Christopher Reeve. With his performance in four films as Superman, Christopher Reeve set the mark for all superheroes that followed and that today dominate the cinematic landscape. When in 1995 he became a paraplegic after a riding accident, Reeve began a second life: as an activist for handicapped rights. Hitherto unseen film footage and a wealth of personal archive material, along with the first extensive interviews with Reeve’s children give unique insights into his biography.
