Story

Kabul. They are called “night prisoners”. When the sun goes down, the two children are allowed to share their mother’s cell. But a new warder puts a stop to it: “Prisons aren’t orphanages, they’re for criminals”. Accompanied by a stray dog, the children set out to commit a crime that will put them behind bars… Marziyeh Meshkini on her neo-realistic film: “Stray Dogs” is a film about people from the street who have come from the inferno of a war.”
