Story

Only when 83 year old Grandma Hilde is kidnapped from an old people’s home by her grandson, it dawns on her happy-go-lucky son that he should really take care of her. What ensues is a ridiculous competition for the right to looking after Hilde. While her own particular needs are increasingly neglected in the process, the two men are very slowly experiencing a sort of appeasement. The director calls his film a comedy about humility.

Director

Ingo Haeb, (*1970) works as director and screenwriter for cinema and TV. He studied screenwriting and directing in Cologne, Berlin and Warsaw. He won the Max Ophuls Award 2006 for Am Tag als Bobby Ewing starb.
