Story

Sa, a young girl from the countryside, comes to the big city to support her family and ends up in the sex industry. This story has been told countless times in the cinema, but perhaps never so elegantly or with such a light touch as in this young Thai film, which is less about sex for money than about dreams and hopes – be they your own or those that others project onto you. It is the true story of Sa Sittijun, who plays herself. The fictional framework is augmented with interviews with family members and neighbours from her home village.
