Story
The plot revolves around a love-story between the vivacious Magdalena and the gigolo Mike. Magdalena’s devout mother makes a living as a “Prayer Warrior” offering auxiliary prayers for paying clients. When she dies, however, her sceptical daughter takes over and eventually enjoys considerable success. The film is unashamedly garnished with gilded edges and a choir of angels.
