Story

In the last century, Rööperi (also the film’s original title) was a social hot spot within Helsinki. Based on the book “Rööperi: The Years of Crime 1955 – 2005” by Harri Nykanen and Tom Sjoberg, the film tells of the rise and fall of three criminals from 1966 to 1979. A box office hit in Finland, the film isano-nonsense homage to the major gangster films and is full of action and strong images.

Director

Al eksi MÄkelÄ, born in 1969, director. Works for both cinema and TV. His films include "Vares: Private Eye" (2004), "Matti: Hell Is For Heroes" (2006) and "V2: Dead Angel" (2007).
