Story

An intelligent and funny fairy-tale about a man who left home to free himself from noise. The man is the film-maker. He suffers from a pathological oversensitivity to noise, so-called hyperakusis. His problem is the fact that he lives in Tel Aviv, one of the loudest cities in the world. His flat in the heart of the city is surrounded by honking cars, buskers and groups of tourists. At first, he looks at the problem in theory – noise planned as a means of mass destruction by the Nazis and as a cause of mass illness. Then he installs a surveillance system in and around his house that identifies all the sources of noise. A grotesque campaign begins which exacts a high price.
