Fiction Feature | FF2004
Story
Like his debut, “El nadador inmóvil”, Fernán Rudnik’s latest film does not tread conventional paths. It is set on the remote beach of Pueblo Chico, which foreign investors would like to develop. The mayor opposes the plans, but only becomes aware of his rivals’ power when Pueblo Chico is cut off from the outside world, and its people left to starve in isolation… Rudnik describes his film as a “metaphoric, poetic tale about a gruesome reality.”
