With bitingly witty dialogues and precise situation comedy, leading actor and director Agnès Jaoui reveals the depths of Paris society. What a party! Busy TV producer Nathalie is giving a moving-in party at her new Parisian villa. The garden fills up with people of all sorts, would-be stars, hipsters and hedonists, all admiring/despising each other, dancing and singing, feeling cool and alive – yet, the more the champagne flows, the more the masks are lowered, revealing the unpredictable emotional powder keg beneath.
AGNÈS JAOUI (*1964) gave her debut as an actor at 19 and has been writing plays and screenplays since 1987. Her breakthrough came in 2000 with her debut feature film Le Goût des Autres.
