Story
Norway 1981. Huge gas and oil fields are discovered in the North Sea. Peder, his brother Knut and a few other top divers are given the job of investigating whether it’s possible for humans to work at a depth of 500m. Obsessed with their task, the two brothers do everything they can to make the most dangerous diving mission in the world a success. But, on the last test dive, Knut dies. When Peder tries to find out what happened, he stumbles upon a network of corruption, murder and scientific rivalry. Step by step, he uncovers the dark side of oil production and soon has to face the question: what is more important, the truth or his own life?
