Story
Kang-do works for a ruthless loan shark. Those who don’t pay their debts at once are mutilated. What remains are broken limbs and lives. The victims are small businesses, workmen in a poor quarter that is gradually giving way to high-rise complexes. Then a mysterious woman turns up, following Kang-do’s every move and observing his work with horror. He can’t shake her off and she claims to be Kang-do’s mother – and the real guilty party, because she had abandoned him as a baby. Kang-do rejects her; only a terrible outbreak of violence convinces him that she is telling the truth. Unknown feelings overcome him, but the cleansing process will be long and painful.
