Story
DOCUMENTARY In 1958, a young French socialist is a member of the first official Western delegation ever to visit North Korea. He gets to know a Korean nurse and they grow quite close, even though there is only one word they both understand: napalm, which was dropped in vast quantities by the US Air Force during the Korean war to devastating effect. 60 years later, Claude Lanzmann returns as a film-maker without a permit to the locations of these past events, where very little is reminiscent of the naively romantic atmosphere of the time. A filmic memory of a short moment when the political became very private.
