Story

Dancing in and with a wheelchair – impossible? By no means, as this moving love story of Mia and Armado shows. She is a teacher at the dance studio where he is the caretaker. They get to know each better through their shared passion for dance, but only fall in love when Mia ends up in a wheelchair following a car accident. Armado looks after his girlfriend devotedly and tries everything to revive her love of life. After a lot of effort, he manages to persuade her and a group of other convalescent patients – an Irak war veteran, a transsexual and a punk – to take part in a dance competition for wheelchair users.A turbulent training programme begins.
