Story
In an inhospitable world of sand, dust and rocks, a teacher gets caught up in a vortex of political, religious and ethnic conflict. A village in Balochistan, a remote border region between Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran. Here, locals meet exiles and refugees. Ahmad, a teacher from Tehran, teaches children despite having been banned from his profession. When a family arrive who have fled from the Taliban, he offers his support. But he quickly finds himself at the heart of a dangerous conflict.
