Story
An old man lies in hospital waiting to die. He has a long career in the Israeli army behind him and is highly decorated. For some, he is the “saviour of the nation”. The general’s son, who to his great disappointment has turned out very religious, is obsessed with a deal that his father agreed to four decades earlier: as a young officer he returned from battle hungry and exchanged his place in heaven for a hot meal from a young cook. The son urgently wants to find the man and cancel the agreement. Otherwise, he is convinced, his father will end up in hell. Screening on 29.09. in attendance of: Yossi Madmony (Director )
