Story
In his mid-50s, André (Stefan Kurt) still lives with his 80-year old mother Louise. He enjoys his sheltered existence as a taxi driver and model aircraft builder. At least, he convinces himself that he enjoys it, even though he cannot bring himself to talk to the attractive woman who sells the sausages at the model aircraft centre. For her part, Louise, who still gets the occasional role in the theatre, loves to play the lady of means, even though her bank account can’t back her up. This modest existence of shared lies is suddenly disturbed by the arrival of Bill, André’s alleged brother from the USA. André isn’t about to give up his status as an only child, and wants to get rid of the usurper as fast as possible. Until Bill one day opens a door to a completely new life.
