Story
In an impressive debut feature, Emmanuelle Nicot examines the effects of abuse with great sensitivity and emotional power. Dalva lives alone with her father. One evening, the police raid their flat, arrest her father and transfer the 12-year old girl to a young people’s home. When Dalva makes friends with housemate Samia and social worker Jayden, she begins to grasp what she has been through. Gradually, the girl tries to find a way to discover her inner child and at the same time start a self-determined life.
