Story
An emancipatory debut film which hits Brazilian cinema like an explosive offensive smash. Sofia is captain of a volleyball team from São Paolo full of queer energy. The evening before a vital championship, the 17-year old decides on an abortion – illegal in Brazil. Now Sofia is in the crosshairs of evangelical extremists who want to prevent her from carrying out her decision. Persecuted by the white fanatics’ hate-filled zealotry, the young woman finds refuge in the pulsating collective of her team as they stand up to protect their team-mate.
