Little Tickles

Story

In this autobiographically inspired drama, co-director and leading actor Andréa Bescond deals unsparingly yet humorously with the consequences of her sexual abuse. 8-year old Odette loves to paint and to laugh. What should she be afraid of when a friend of her parents asks if he can tickle her? The signals that the girl then sends her parents aren’t recognized – and later Odette tries to process what she’s experienced in dance form. In her late 30s she’s a sought-after dancer. Even if her everyday life is still affected by the wounds of her trauma, she’s confident and free-thinking enough to fight with passion and humour for her personal sovereignty.
