Story
A satire about family and refugees mixes private life and political reality in a succession of larger and smaller crises. Together with a German colleague, Nathalie Adler is in Sicily on behalf of the EU to organize a visit by Macron and Merkel to a refugee camp. Here, she meets her son who as a radical activist upsets not only his mother’s professional plans. The film takes a hard look at the instrumentalization of refugees for political purposes and the neuroses of the protagonists in government offices and NGOs.
