Story
The ruling heads of Latin America come together at a 3000m-high summit meeting to discuss the founding of a new oil alliance. The Argentine Hernán Blanco is newly elected and haunted by a corruption scandal from his time as the mayor of a small town. The irony is that his accuser is of all people his daughter’s ex-husband. To keep control of the situation, the president has his daughter flown in – and with her not only is his private life blown wide open, but the film takes on fantastical elements. The Summit reveals the sometimes exciting, sometimes bizarre mechanisms of big politics between backroom meetings and hypnosis sessions.
