Story
Kati is 15 and suffers from asthma. Together with her younger sister, she spends a lot of time at her grandma’s in the country, where the clean air is good for her lungs. But there’s also something spooky, unspoken about the place. Kati is plagued by visions. Of loss and wrongdoing. Her Grandma has the feeling that she hasn’t got much longer to live. It might be the last summer with her granddaughters. She would slowly like to take her leave of them. But is there such a thing as a good, gentle death? One that doesn’t come suddenly and tear painful holes in your life? Jeder der fällt hat Flügel is a lyrical work of art which won the Jury Prize at the film festival in Karlovy Vary.
