Story
A suggestive psycho-thriller about the power of trust – and its fragility. On a train journey, doctor and single mother Nina (Lisa Maria Potthoff) gets to know charismatic Mark (Manuel Rubey). What starts as a flirt quickly turns into love. Nina introduces her new boyfriend to her neighbours Melanie (Ulrike Krumbiegel) and Andreas (Justus von Dohnányi). Soon, Mark moves in with Nina in the country – and confesses that he killed his last girlfriend in the heat of the moment. He served seven years in prison for manslaughter. Nevertheless, Nina gives their relationship a chance. But then Melanie doesn’t return from a short trip away. Her jealous husband suspects that Mark and Melanie have been having an affair and Nina too becomes suspicious. When Melanie‘s body is found in nearby woods, everything changes.
