Story
The story of Massimo Carlotto, one of Italy’s greatest legal scandals. In 1976, aged 19 and extremely left-wing, Carlotto was falsely convicted of having murdered a woman. Andrea Manni tells the tale of his fight for justice as a gripping psychological thriller, with false evidence, faked witness statements, years on the run between Paris, Barcelona and Mexico, and his desperate love for Alessandra. Carlotto was finally pardoned in 1993.
