Glowing Stars

Story

Friendship, parties, boys! Most of Jenna’s wishes are typical for her age. But only most of them. Jenna’s mother has cancer. And in her pocket, Jenna keeps a note that reads: “If you die, mum, I will kill myself.” Otherwise she refuses to talk about the sickness, even if her otherwise vivacious mother says “It won’t go away ifwe don’t talk about it.”

Director

Lisa Siwe, born in 1969 in Gothenburg. She studied at the Stockholm Film School and her graduate film "Birthday and Other Disasters" won the award for the best film at the festival in Karlovy Vary. After doing multiple short films "Glowing Stars" is her cinema debut.
