Story
OPENING FILM: You have to love Gabrielle. Her energy and joie de vivre are infectious and her musical talent extraordinary. Born with Williams Beuren syndrome and now in her mid-20s, Gabrielle sings in a choir. This is where she met her boyfriend Martin. For both, it is the first relationship. They treat each other with tenderness and care and don’t hide their feelings from the world. Because they are different, however, their environment will not allow them to live as they would like. But Gabrielle will not be dictated to and just wants to be with Martin. While the choir prepare for an important concert, she does all she can to prove her self-sufficiency – against all prejudice, and to the very limit of her capabilities. Gabrielle is a magical declaration of love to being different and to music. Tickets for the opening can be bought at the Levantehaus.
