Story
The story: sex, corruption, murder. The hero: Orson Welles. Director Oliver Parker co-wrote (with John Sayles) the script with noir undertones. Rome, 1948. Orson Welles (Danny Huston) wants to revive his floundering film career and recuperate from his divorce from Rita Hayworth when a sudden death that gets the hush-hush treatment from the police entangles him in a net of intrigue, lust, and politics.
