Story
A mixture of archive material and numerous newly-filmed interviews, Oliver Schwabe’s entertaining documentary tells the story of the legendary Hamburg music club Onkel Pö. The portrait of a unique jazz and pop institution and the protagonists of the then Hamburg scene from Udo Lindenberg to Otto Waalkes, Inga Rumpf to Al Jarreau and Olli Dittrich to Peter Urban. A look back at a creatively fecund period.
