Story
Water, volleyball, moped, love, forest, tall grass, youth, stones, river, cigarettes, sausages, techno, wind, present, chips with ketchup: a shimmering coming-of-age film against loneliness. 17-year old Simon flees from his PE lesson and ends up on a riverbank with a young clique. Time slides by in amongst the airbeds and airheads – until Marie appears and an unexpected incident catapults the two of them into the woods by the river. They escape the lethargy and find themselves in a timeless, enchanted landscape.
Director
WILLY HANS (*1982 in Freiburg) studied Film at the HFBK Hamburg under Angela Schanelec and Wim Wenders. In 2014, he co-founded the artistic collective »Spengemann Eichberg Goldkamp Hans«. His short films have won numerous prizes. Skill Issue is his feature film debut and had its premiere at the Locarno Film Festival.Trailer
