Story
Ida, like the fairytale character Ilsebill, who repeatedly sends her husband to the magic flounder to fulfil her wishes, wants more. She wants more than her fish-enthusiast husband Otto can offer. According to the director, women have been like Ilsebill for generations. “We want everything: children, career, love… we want more because he doesn’t want anything; it’s a mutually effected condition.”
