Story
DOCUMENTARY A reunion with the iconic work of the legendary American choreographer Merce Cunningham – as a 3D cinema experience! The works of Merce Cunningham were milestones of dance, full of lyricism and technical perfection. The film follows the career of the dance genius who died in 2009 – from his early years as an impoverished dancer in 1940s New York to his rise to become one of biggest visionaries of modern dance – and portrays his artistic universe, along with that of his brilliant companions Robert Rauschenberg and John Cage. We relive Cunningham‘s most important works – together with the dancers from the last generation of his ensemble.
