Soccer, bossa nova, caipirinha come to mind but even few young Brazilians will think of its recent past, of the 60’s and 70’s when a military dictatorship ruled the land with an iron fist. This Brazil is the topic of a political thriller which won prizes for directing, best actor, script and art direction plus the audience award at the 37th Brazilian Film Festival.
