Story

HYBRID The gripping story of Aurora Mardiganian, who as a child survived the Armenian genocide. Los Angeles, 1919. Auction of Souls, the first Hollywood film about the genocide of the Armenian people, is a huge hit. The film is based on the autobiographical best-seller by star Aurora Madriganian, who wants the world to know about the atrocities she experienced in the Ottoman Empire. Aurora’s Sunrise combines interviews and archive material with animation and exclusive excerpts from Auction of Souls, which had long been thought lost.
