Story

The relationship of a middle-aged couple (international stars Maria Schrader and Sebastian Koch) is severely troubled by the accidental death of their son. He is unable to talk about what happened, she is unable to accept this. When he is offered a sabbatical on a Spanish island, he grabs the chance and throws himself into an affair with a beautiful woman. But the past won’t leave him alone.

Director

CLAUDIA GARDE (*1966) studied at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg and has made numerous episodes of Tatort, including Borowski und der vierte Mann [Borowski and the Fourth Man] (2010).
