Story

An old white man and a young philosopher meet at the town hall – and turn the political landscape in France on its head. A comedy about the sustainability of politics. Paul feels empty, like a car with a powerful engine but no petrol in the tank. He’s the mayor of Lyon and was once an ambitious politician with big ideas. Now he sits, worn out, in the backwater of local politics. In despair, he gives the philosopher Alice a job. Her task is to develop visions and create the future. For Paul, she is the last hope, for Alice it’s her first job outside the comfort zone of uni. And indeed, the odd couple set about revolutionising politics.
