Story
The Palestinian student Nimr and the Israeli lawyer Roy meet at a nightclub in Tel Aviv. There is immediately a strong connection between the two men which electrifies the film from the first to the last minute. But Nimr is torn between his family, who would kill him if they knew of his sexuality and his partner, and an Israel that refuses to recognize him. The hopeless situation escalates when Nimr‘s student visa for Israel is withdrawn. The Israeli- Palestinian conflict has rarely been portrayed in such an immediately comprehensible and emotional manner. The real situation for this story can be seen in the documentary The Invisible Men.
