Story

Pedro (Concalo Waddington) was born in 1970s Portugal, when the Revolution of the Carnations had just ended a 40-year dictatorship. 30 years later he helps his grandmother Ines (Adelaide João) move into an old people’s home and among her possessions he discovers a fragment of family history, previously unbeknown to him. Pedro grew up without a father. What had happened to him in the aftermath of the revolution? Did he flee, was he kidnapped, did he commit suicide? An emotional drama about the origins of Portuguese democracy.

Director

Ivo M. Ferreira, born in 1975, has worked as a director since 1997. His films include "Angola em cena" (2002), "Contadores do príncipe" (2002), "Em volta" (2002) and "À procura de Sabino" (2003).
