Story
Based on true events, the poetic drama tells of the struggle for dignity, human rights and freedom. Soviet Union, 1980. The human rights activist and political prisoner Mustafa Yemilev is exiled to Siberia. His fate moves people all over the country – for various reasons: While the kind-hearted teacher Safinar finally wants to meet the living legend of her people in person, prosecutor Shalandin travels to Siberia to eliminate the activist.
